christianity missing the point.

there's alot of good discussion going on over at shipwrecked, but i think some of it misses the point of christianity (including some of my own input). a buddy fired this video at me and it feels like a breath of fresh air in a world of christian haze:


it's an interview with tony campolo on the hour. he has a lot to say about today's view of christianity.

arise...and do something.
the church that i attend in TO has started a movement that is concerned with our environment. it's called "arise" and this type of thinking gives me hope in christianity.

i've also been impressed with "to write love on her arms", which is a anti-depression and anti-suicide movement which aims to love our youth. they do wonderful things. be sure to read their story.
