awhile back i designed some new business cards to the tune of my thesis. i printed the cards on the left over press sheets from a recent project.

i printed my info over the inside of the book cover which had a pattern on drawn green lines. i like the way it looks. the back of the cards are a /dr. pattern over-printed, and knocked out.

in other sustainable news. /dr. has a project featured in a socially responsible design exhibition. the exhibition is being held in the departures terminal of the toronto pearson international airport. keep an eye out for it if you're flying to or from TO.

TTC station wall decals.

The coolest thing since the station buttons.

Glancing through the various station decals will illustrate how poorly considered the type was when creating/extending the subway system. They should have just stuck with that futura-looking custom face for all the stations.

bob's your uncle.
after a 24 hour flight, accompanied by some severe jet lag, joxo and i finally arrived in the land down under. and it's dope. kinda like canada. but canada in the twilight zone. well a hotter canada with a good accent and a lot of little things that are able to kill you. i read recently that australia happens to have the most venomous species of all things dangerous in the world (or something crazy like that).

the first day we were here, we took a trip to the southern tip of the country. nice place. we went on a tree walk, which consisted of a bunch of suspended bridges that gradually ascended into the heights of the trees (really, really BIG trees).

upon my insistent request, we also visited a petting zoo. it was probably the most excited i've been in a long time. we even got to go into the fenced-in areas and pet and feed the animals. the highlight was the sleepy koala bears and the little joeys.

this is taking forever because i'm using dial up internet. ya, dial up. it's like putting your brain in a time-warp back to 1997. so of course the photos won't upload.

happy 2009. we spent the first day with beach beers. it was bomb.

school is done. for good. well, atleast until i get bored and start graduate studies. christmas is around the bend. on that note, some friends (jb, LL, e-rock) and i were asked to design the space at ft for advent. there was some pretty creative stuff that happened including glowing balloon orbs, lighting made out of garbage, other really great lighting, and a pretty rad projection installation based on the idea of for weeks of "waiting". these flicks are care of kyle b:

urban biking.
i was biking home down queen street yesterday and then BAM! door prize. i swerved pretty quickly, to avoid my bike slamming directly into the door, only to have my arm and right side of my body slam into the door jam. great.

i reminded the motorist that looking before he jacked his door open was his responsibility. he told me that i should relax. wtf?! buddy almost turns me into a soup sandwich. and then he tells me to relax. ohhhhhhhh mannnnn.

my arm is swollen. sore. and bruised, but i'm ok.

school has started. classes are pretty rad (motion, advanced type and letter press). work is good. life is busy but amazing.

i get my life back.

thesis is done. all done. which means i might start using this blog again. my thesis was about exploring experimental sustainable graphic design. the short and sweet explanation is that i only designed things with used materials. until i get my website up and running, i'll entertain you with these photos of my last project. it's a brand new book about the development of my thesis (printed on a discarded book). here's a few flicks:

the last chapter.
an epilogue technically isn't a chapter, but the title just had a ring to it that i couldn't backspace. the fi3 trip began with a series of fund raisers, all named after book sections.

the alchemy index vol. I & II
my favourite band of all time (thrice) took on the task of creating a 4-disc album called "the alchemy index". the individual discs are influenced by fire, water, earth and air. fire and water was released today as a double disc album. it's AMAZING! fire is really heavy (think older thrice that has past that awkward puberty stage). water is ambient (think radiohead making out with sigur ros and asking dustin kensrue to sing along while it happens). it's amazing. and the lyrics are more honest, beautiful and truth-filled than anything MTV will ever feed you (or anything you're currently listening to...seriously). sample the entire 2 discs here while you still can (fire is the first 6 tracks, water is the next 6 tracks).

india+toronto+yellowknife+the dentist+CDs.
first off. i'm back from india. it might have been the single best experiance of my life. god blew my brains out all over the country. when i came back i spent a week in toronto, which was probably the single best week ever spent in toronto. no job. no school. nice weather. hipster church. amazing hangouts. and now i'm in yellowknife where i work. work out. bike. read. and talk on the phone.

today was teeth cleaning day! and i just got back from the dentist. i like clean teeth, but i hate the feeling of having my teeth cleaned. the doctor used this vibrating tool on my pearly whites. it felt like he was using a drummel with 80 grit sandpaper. and for some reason he was grinding the daylights out of my gums and not my teeth. it was awful. and then he used that polishing gizmo that tickles/irritates my gums so much that i don't know whether to laugh or scream.

people always ask me if it hurt when i got my tattoos. i usually just say it was irritating more than anything. but i'd pick the feeling of getting a tattoo over the feeling of getting my teeth cleaned anyday.

on the way home i decided to "treat myself". which means i stopped by the music shop to pick up a CD. i was looking for the almost (the side project of the drummer/singer of underoath). i couldn't find it anywhere so i asked the guy behind the counter if he could help me out. he gracefully walked over to the "pop rock" section (?) and picked it out for me. DOPE! then i saw the sticker that said, "$25". which sucks. because alot of the CDs i want in YK are over-priced. but i figured i've paid that price before for crappier CDs, so why not pay that much for a good one. it turns out that the sticker said "2 for $25" and not just "$25". so i also picked up a feist CD.

indy ahhhh update.

i've been avoiding the internet while i'm in india. mainly because it owns me when i'm in canada. also, i really had no idea what i should write for my first blog post. i'm afraid this post is not going to be the fireworks i hoped for. i've been trying to sift through my thoughts over the last few days, and i realized that i haven't processed much more than the moment i stepped off the plane in delhi. so here are some bullet points thoughts of my first 10 days in india.

+ living with less feels very carefree and wonderful. i love it.
+ life would be complete if i could find love like the taj mahal.
+ poverty seems very unfair. and i often feel frustrated or angry. but usually confused all the time.
+ the ganga river was disgustingly beautiful and strangely sacred.
+ sweating sucks. so does being sick and hitting the bathroom ever half hour.
+ the more i see the love of christ, the more confused i feel about a lot of the old testament and the book of revelation.
+ i secretly wish i was pluralist.
+ the sisters of charity put to shame my entire life of love and service to christ. it's been a joy to work with them.
+ i volunteer at a house which takes care of handicapped children. they often remind me of the christ child when they speak or look at me.
+ jesus is bigger than christianity.
+ india is a gongshow 24/7. i think lisa described it best as "beautiful chaos".
+ i heart the catholic church.
+ the team i came here with is amazing. 18 people is a large group to travel with but i'm glad i came with each and ever one of them.
+ i have good photos to share with you over a pint of beer when i come home.

i had a birthday. i finished school and now i'm four days away from getting on a plane and flying to india. i could write a post that could be published as a novel, but to spare you from a text heavy post. i'll post some recent pictures.

this photo was snapped at st patrick's awhile ago. i liked the contrast in structures. i think it looks pretty. and when they're done the renovations. i think they should leave the scaffolding there.

mTp and i went to honest eds on friday. i needed some bandannas and we both felt like getting lost amidst the chaos of a shabby department store. every time i go in that place it looks like a shit storm raged through every isle of every floor. i love it.

the great gatsby + kipling transfer.
one of my class projects this semester is to redesign a book using only type. (the book cover will be the challenge). anyway, so i chose to redesign the great gatsby because the book rocks and so does anything deco or from the 1920s.

for reference, i borrowed mTp's copy of TGG. it's an older copy (the original design). he picked it up earlier this semester from a second hand book store. it even has that old book smell and notes scrawled the margins. as i was thumbing through the pages i found this book mark:
it's a subway transfer that has "kipling" stamped on it. LOOK HOW OLD THAT IS! stuff like gets me excited for some reason. so i spent a good 20 or 30 minutes making up different scenarios in my head about someone reading this book on the TTC. wondering where he/she was going. whether or not they enjoyed the book as much as i did. what the TTC looked like. whether or not they went through lower-bay to get to kipling. then i snapped back to the here and now.

i've always wanted an apartment with exposed brick.

lately i've been thinking about how to maximize space at my working area. my desk is kinda small and usually cluttered with my laptop, printer, scanner, monitor etc. and because buying a new desk isn't really an option (with the up-coming india trip and all), i decided to make some shelves to replace the previously used milk creates. here's the result:

i found the large piece of shelving (which i cut) last week when i took the garbage out. i painted it black (with some left over spray paint) because it was kinda marked up and ugly. then i went for a walk around the neighbourhood to find some bricks (which was surprisingly easy), came home, scrubbed them in the bath tub and presto-change-o.

the never-ending saga.
if you're a regular here at sixpointbleed, you'll know that i recently (4 months ago!) bought a new digital SLR and then managed drenched it in hairspray 2 weeks later. check here for a recap. after 3 months of confused sony employees (i'm pretty sure that NO ONE at sony knows ANYTHING), i eventually got the camera fixed. OR DID I!? it turns out i didn't.

i was shooting with it when i first got it back and found out that if i use the flash i get this hilarious ERROR. so i had to bring it back to the sony headquarters which happens to be a 3 hour subway adventure. (they also FORGOT to put 2 screws back into the casing after taking it apart the first time..SERIOUSLY)

lets do the math together.
4 months of waiting + $400.00 of damage + (3 hour subway adventure x 4) + ($5.50 TTC fare x 4) = /dr. ready to have a hissy fit...or a large glass of port. or both...at the exact same time.

bunnies + preface
at the end of last week, mTp and i took in two new roommates for a few days. here's two shots of one of them (his name is stewy).
after taking that picture of mTp looking like he just got released from the psych ward, i made sure that he was never allowed to touch the bunnies again.

the weekend was pretty sweet. we held our first freedomizeIndia fundraiser in a kick-ass downtown toronto loft. the event was an evening of art, photography, story telling, t-shirt printing, silent auctioning, great-food-eating, wine drinking etc. it was really rad. i spent friday setting up for the event and cutting stencils for the t-shirt printing room. i snapped this after cutting a stencil for a mother teresa quote.
i love letters. (why, YES! that IS nerdy)

i spent the majority of the event printing t-shirts. which was fun fun fun. here's a shot fel snapped of al and i doing our thaaannng.

over all the event went super well. we raised some awareness about our trip, raise a bit of coin and it was a good opportunity to get to know some of the other people who are also planning on going to india.

snowboarding, movies, headaches and ashes.
it's reading week! which is amazing because i can sit back and do nothing! well not really, but i do have a little more time to myself. last weekend i went to the bay to visit my brother and his wife. i had a blast. there's something about getting on a bus that i always enjoy. then again, there's something about being on a bus for 6 hours that i despise. but the trip was good. we went snowboarding on saturday. the hill was pretty small, but we had enough to make ourselves ridiculously sore the next day. we also a pretty funny story about teaching manners to young snowboarders. but i'm afraid that writing it on this blog will just make the story sound lame. so ask ryan or i about it sometime.

there is hope.
this year i've found myself in a battle with the ethics of design and the industry i find myself in. i began to realize that my industry actually does revolve around; convincing society that the they actually do need 2-ply toilet paper in their lives. because their asses will be so much better off. you know...useless shite like that.

but over the last few months, i've found people who view design different. people who think graphic design can be a positive contribution to society. it's been encouraging. it's everything i want to learn i school, but have never been taught. while doing a research paper i found this (it gives me hope):

FIRST THINGS FIRST 2000
a design manifesto

We, the undersigned, are graphic designers, art directors and visual communicators who have been raised in a world in which the techniques and apparatus of advertising have persistently been presented to us as the most lucrative, effective and desirable use of our talents. Many design teachers and mentors promote this belief; the market rewards it; a tide of books and publications reinforces it.

Encouraged in this direction, designers then apply their skill and imagination to sell dog biscuits, designer coffee, diamonds, detergents, hair gel, cigarettes, credit cards, sneakers, butt toners, light beer and heavy-duty recreational vehicles. Commercial work has always paid the bills, but many graphic designers have now let it become, in large measure, what graphic designers do. This, in turn, is how the world perceives design. The profession's time and energy is used up manufacturing demand for things that are inessential at best.

We propose a reversal of priorities in favor of more useful, lasting and democratic forms of communication - a mindshift away from product marketing and toward the exploration and production of a new kind of meaning. The scope of debate is shrinking; it must expand. Consumerism is running uncontested; it must be challenged by other perspectives expressed, in part, through the visual languages and resources of design.

In 1964, 22 visual communicators signed the original call for our skills to be put to worthwhile use. With the explosive growth of global commercial culture, their message has only grown more urgent. teeeee-shuuuurtz.
it's friday night and i don't feel that social for some reason. so i decided to make shirts. i printed another one of hepburn. i like how it turned out.

i had a pile of ink left over that i mixed so i decided to make a print based on a poem i wrote recently titled, "F is for _AITH". the ink in the picture is still drying.
in other news, i got my camera back! but there seems to be a little mix up with where my battery went. so i may have to puchase a new battery. BUT i did get a pretty sweet discount on the repairs (as in a whoppin' 40% SCHWEEEEET!). so next time i post a picture it will look crisp (unlike the hazy photos i just took) that's all...for now.

this is my life. febuary 2, 2007.
i haven't written in this little blog for a long time. my mom asked me to keep it updated so she can keep up with my busy life. so...this blog entry is for my mama shizzam (that's her nickname). here's the update.

most significantly, i'm thinking (basically sold) about going to india to serve the poor in calcutta for the month of may. ya, i know. scary. but i really feel like god is kicking my ass to go. right now we (some peeps from my church) are still in the planning stages, but every meeting i go to, i get more and more pumped. when i get really excited i say, "yesYesYES!" to myself. and i've been saying that alot recently. and when i'm not saying that i'm deathly petrified. keith dungeon and i are also using our god-given skills to create a website for the trip. stay tuned.

in other news. i'm seriously thinking about getting a bunny-rabbit. i LOVE bunnies. they make me incredibly happy. you seriously have no idea. i went to a friend's house last thursday and it turns out she has TWO bunnies. i had a blast. i think they did as well. and while i had the chance i rubbed one of the little guys into my eyeballs to find out if i am allergic. i think i was ok! perhaps after india i'll get a new furry little friend. for more on how animals make people happy. read joey's most recent entry.

after the bunnies and i hung out, we watched THE WIZARD. remember the wizard?! with ben savage? it's that late 80's movie about kids taking a road trip in order to play in a nintendo tournament in california. YUP! that wizard. amazing.

if you want to lose respect for me, read on.
this weekend was the weekend of dance tunes. friday night i went to the boat with mTp (matt the priest) and bicyclette to see the crystal castles. It was a strange concert. the band (which was really good) hardly played, and then the dj played for the rest of the night. so we danced. alot.

saturday night mTp and i ended up at the dance cave with some friends. after stoping in at lee's palace to see a show that was highly mediocre, we ended up dancing the rest of the night away again.

i also spent a great deal of the weekend feasting my ears on a steady diet of what i would normally consider shite. but hey, some early 90's dance tunes are just plain plain catchy. please don't judge me.

it's christmas time again!
i love christmas. for real. but it seems like a lot of people hate this time of the year for one reason or another. other people just don't find beauty in this holiday.

last year my friend asked our teacher how his christmas holidays went. his reply, "i fackin' love christmas, it's the biggest excuse in the world to veg for two fackin' weeks." i joke about all the time...but for real!? that's the meaning of christmas? veggin' for two fackin' weeks?

last week i asked someone if he was pumped for christmas. his reply, "i REALLY don't like christmas...with all the shopping and stuff...AHHH...i don't like it" so christmas is about shopping?

so when the rest of the world has their shopping and veggin' to do (or whatever else they do to occupy their holidays). i'll keep with my holiday tunes, my christmas teas, my love for people i don't get to see regularly and the beautiful thought that there's a god who would be crazy enough to be born in bowl that animals eat from...just because he loves me and this screwed up world that i'm surround with. absolutely beautiful.

situation #1. i spilled coffee on my laptop. pretty dumb, but it's a-ok.

situation #2. with the money that i saved up over the summer, i decided to buy myself a new digital camera. i figure that it would be a good investment into my future career. so i bought the Sony Alpha 100 DSLR. mega-pumped! (refer to previous post) i go to a wedding last week. the camera is in my backpack. so is a can of hairspray. try to fill the blanks...

i don't eat animals anymore.

I've been thinking about this for a long time. I mentioned it to my family a few times over the summer, and so I finally commited myself to this. I don't eat meat. Not because I think that it's wrong to eat meat, but because I want to have true compassion for ever living thing. I suck at this. So I figured this is a decent place to start. I think it's wrong how animals are poorly farmed and mistreated for our pleasure.

how i get through a long day.
my friend jen, recently made a post about those cheesy tropical island desktop backgrounds. the post was about how these fantasy images are like a portal that can take you from your soul-sucking office to a happy place. go read it now if you're intrigued. but please come back.

while i don't have a picture of myself drinking a corona on a beach in mexico as my background, i do have my own method of dealing with stress at work. let me explain to you my reasoning before i tell you what i do. my brother is the program co-ordinator at an old folks home here in YK. every couple weeks they have a "dog therapy day". so they bring dogs into the home because dogs make people happy.

so when i can't get a concept nailed, or i can't think straight, i head over to cute overload dot com and look at the kitties and bunnies. it's really lame, but it does make me happy. it's actually boarderline embarassing. yesterday i started giggling in my office. here are some of my favorite cheer-er-uppers:

it's hard to tell because of the angle, but those bunnies in the last picture are really big! which intrigued me to find a really really big bunny. i found this guy!
just look at that him! he's soooooo cool. don't you just want to hug him!? and he's real! so now, whenever i get stressed out, i make up a story with this guy as the lead character.

for example. imagine coming over to my apartment to watch a movie with bunch of friends. all of a sudden this guy casually romps into the room chomping on a bundle of carrots. and at first you think, "cool! dylan got a dog...and then you take a closer look...and you think....NOOOOooooooo...that's an ENORMOUS bunny."

i asked age if she would let me have a bunny like this some day. she told me i couldn't because the big guy would be so disgruntled from such a traumatic childhood...or bunnyhood...that he would probably eat someone. plus he would stomp all over the furniture and probably break the couch.

it's ok little guy, i'll be your friend.

i'm pretty sure the readers of this blog are sick and tired of yellowknife stories and facts, but i have another one. what can i say, i'm at home and almost as bored as lisa.

here are the top 2 stolen street signs in yellowknife (and if i had a bit more jam and a little less ethics, i'd have one of each for my new apartment):
lois lane. ya know...like superman...tough crowd eh? eek! ok this one is better. i promise.
that's seriously the name of the street. the signs were stolen so often that the city fastened the street signs to the homes of everyone who lives on ragged ass road (now there are more signs to steal). legend has it that a small group of early yellowknifers were sitting around thinking of a name for their street, when one guy piped and said, "well we're ragged ass poor, lets call it ragged ass road". makes sense.

also, 100 dylan points goes to the individual who can name the canadian musician who named their album after ragged-ass road. WAIT! STOP! i know half of you already have G-O-O-G-L typed in your address bar. but if you cheat you get -100 dylan points. guess if you have no idea. humor me.

hell can't touch god's grace...and camping.

my weekend started with a chemical burn.

that's my back. it's one of the worst burns i've ever felt. i'd rather turn the stove up to ten and press my face against the element. well maybe not. but it was excruciating. i have a bad back. part of it is genetics and part of it is stupidity from my youth. so my mom put some lakota heat stuff (kinda like A535 or deep heat or whatever you put on sore muscles). 30 seconds after she put it on it started to burn like hell. ten minutes after that, i was lying face down on the floor talking to a nurse on the phone while my brother and parents took turns pressing cold cloths and ice packs to my pack. i closed my eyes and all i could image was my back looking like a picture of fire burn victim that you would find in a medical text book. 40 minutes later the picture was taken, which is why it doesn't look THAT bad. it sucked. i almost passed out.

on a more positive note, i went camping this weekend with my family. here are some highlights.

we started off hiking to cameron falls. it's one of my favorite places in YK. here's a picture of me, j-unit (my sister-in-law) and jo-nads (older bro).
after the hike, we headed to reid lake (camping site) where we hung out, laughed, bonded, ate some bannock and chili and went canoeing. here's j-unit and i rockin' the paddles in the boat.

then we packed up and left. i included this last picture because it's a good one of b-roy (aka pop star) and I.
and that was my weekend.

i met this girl with the holy ghost,
she turned me on to the clash.

those of you who know me well, have heard me mention a band called the vigilantes of love. the band is basically one guy from atlanta georgia who never has money to record his music, but some how ends up cranking out amazing record after amazing record (for his last album, he asked his fans to pre-order the cd so he can afford to go into the studio). he's one of those rare/great "christian" musicians, even though his cds have been tossed out of the "christian" book stores a few times. i got one of the newer albums from my brother this summer. here are the lyrics from one of the songs that are on repeat in my head.

yellowknife is build on a 10,000 carat diamond.

that's the impression you get as soon as you check out real-estate in this area. you pay insane prices for a trailer. no i'm serious. infact, half of YK is a trailer park. there's practically no lumber in YK because it's technically a desert. which means building a house is maga-expensive. so people ship up homes on transports from alberta and then assemble them here.

and if you think the condo market in toronto is bad, check this out:

ahahaha. it's hard to read. but that's a "condos for sale" sign. it looks like some kids crappy 2nd grade presentation booth at a science fair. i have to get a close up for you because it's just THAT awesome:

there ya go! condos for sale! won't you just look at that. hand-written and everything. they even managed to pull the "oops we forgot to add our phone number to our sign...we'll just tack it on later" trick. what a gongshow.

and i know you may be thinking that the owner probably doesn't have the extra cash to spend on a nice sign. but wait! see those condos in the back? those are the condos. and they're flying off the market at a wopping $210,000 a pop! if you don't believe me, give the guy a call. the number is right on the sign.

haha troublesome.

the studio eleven dining room had discussion about all sharing our baby and kid pictures awhile back. i often forget that most of my friends, have never seen me in me during my childhood days. lisa posted a picture of her as a kid a few entries back. my older brother recently did the same thing. it started to cause a ruckus, so i decided to do the same. i always like a good ruckus.

so here are the royal boys. joey is in the middle. he actually wants his picture taken. he's 3 year older than me and my twin bro ryan. I'm the one on the left who is far more interested in playing with whatever toy happens to be on the carpet. which makes ryan the kid who is chewing on whatever is under his fingernail at the time.

shizzam (my mom, we all have ridiculous nicknames) has her boys all decked out in these HUGE 3" pins which are totally awesome. my pin says, "i'm a twin". ryan's pin says, "i'm his twin" and joey's pin says, "i'm have twin brothers". shizzam is a pround of her boys.

throwing myself off a cliff.

it's not a poetic metaphor. it's what i did yesterday. a friend and i heard that there are some cliffs to jump off. and i remember seeing some kids cliff jumping last summer. so we decided to check it out. i had expectations of some nice 50 foot cliffs because yellowknife is pretty much one big rock in the middle of nowhere. but the cliffs were really small. so we jumped for awhile and then went home. it was good to be in the water. i've hardly been swimming all summer. here are some videos of the event:

the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire...
i was at work late last night because i was transfering my files from my imac to my new laptop. yup that's right folks, i finally got my new macbook! i also got a new 30gig ipod video. woot woot! anyway, on the way home my brother and i noticed smoke...and a lot of it. this is what we find:

that right there is st. joseph's public school...and it's on fire. it was the main attraction in yellowknife. you should have seen the streets, they were filled with people. it was nuts! just look at the people there in the playing field, they're all having a hay day. some were gathered untill like 2 in the morning just watching the thing burn. anyway, i drove past it again this morning and found the school like this:

which really sucks, cause my mom works at the school...and she's on holidays right now...so she doesn't really even know that her school burned down. i should probably write her an e-mail.

4X4in' and exploration.

This weekend was pretty boring untill Sunday. I went to church and met up with this guy I met through my older brother. He's from BC and an overall pretty rad guy. After church we went out for brunch, which was awesome. After lunch the fun begins.

We decided to go four by fouring. And if you're down with the lingo you call it four-byin'. For those city folk who are reading this, four-byin' is basically talking your off-road vehicle (in this case a jeep) then just driving it down bush trails you otherwise wouldn't take your vehicle. So we take off to the outskirts of Yellowknife with the doobie brothers cranked and the top off the jeep. And that's how our adventure beings.

Here we are at the end of a trail. The Jeep isn't going any further and mosquitoes feasting on our bare arms. But getting to that point was fun.

After bombing around the bush for awhile, we decided to head home. On the way, I notice a trail that had been blocked off. I also noticed the frame of an old abandoned mineshaft in the distance. The whole situation reeked of adventure. PLUS we were in 4X4 Jeep. After finding a way around the road block (which was by far the best four-byin' we did all day) we found this:

UH HUH, it's time to explore! We drove around the property for awhile. Most of it was trashed. But ambulance bay was pretty cool.

We also went into this random building and climbed this eerie staircase.

Let me start by saying that I'm not scared of heights, but this was one of the freakiest situations I've ever found myself in. This thing was old, creaky and there were floorboards and hand rails missing all over the place. Here's a view of the building from the top of the stairs.

There were also these little trailers that were once used for living in I believe. They had full bathrooms and little kitchens. A lot of furniture was still left. Most of it was smashed. But I did snap this shot.

We walked around abit more and then went home. All in all. A good day. I wish the DR exploration crew was there.
